Trailhead and parking located at N 37 11.007 W 113 16.706, just outside of Hurricane, Utah. A GREAT, new trail in the area with a lot of great history. Prepare yourself for a 3 mile hike to get to the cache. The trail is hot with very little cover in the beginning so bring plenty of water. After "the drop" you'll have shade and cool caves to look forward to, as well as spectacular views of red cliffs and old structures!
The contents of this cache were donated by all the great cachers who attended the Dusty Trails (or maybe not?) Event Cache!
Please be aware that the best part of this trail is the last mile, so stick with it for the first two! Take a look at the brochure that I scanned before you go. You can pick up one of your own at the registry box located at the trailhead. Have fun!!
Attention Mountain Bikers! This is a great trail to bring your bike to. However, when you come to the Canal Trail, you will have to leave your bike behind. There are no bikes allowed on the Canal Trail. Bikes are, however, allowed on the Rim Trail, which is the trail that starts out this adventure for nearly two of the three miles.
