Geocache Description:

Park overview:

Rainbow Falls State Park is a 139-acre camping park with 3,400 feet of freshwater shoreline on the Chehalis River. The south side of the park across from the highway consists of over 2.5 miles of trails that wind through acres of mature forest. This cache has been placed to provide an opportunity to enjoy all the attributes one would come to expect from such a nature trail

There is a loop trail that leads through a stunning old-growth forest and is flanked by two larger loops bisected by several other trails. Vine maples make this an especially beautiful forest in the fall.

Park hours/updates:

Summer: 6:30 a.m. to dusk.
Winter: 8 a.m. to dusk.
The park is open year round for camping and day use.
