Hidden April 2002. Oak Openings area. Good trail. This is part of
the Good Dog Trail. This is one of 10 caches that form a loop.
Start at any point and follow the numbers for an enjoyable drive.
PARKING at Evergreen Lake (3 caches) -Beatlejuice, Donor, Over the
Hill to Grandma's Horse. N.41-32.141 W 83-49.740
The USDA was doing pine beatle research here and placed lots of
traps on the pine trees; thus the name "Beatlejuice". They have
apparently finished their research and removed the traps, but I
like the name, so I'm stickin to it. Cache is not far off the
trail, so there is no need to bushwack. Small camo colored
container about 5x3x3. THERE IS NO ROOM FOR TRADE GOODS EXCEPT
SMALL SIGNATURE ITEMS. If the box is full, please remove something.
The cap must be snugged on tight to keep it waterproof. Oak
Openings is a huge area with many trails, lakes, and a new nature
center. Many trails are open to bikes, and the paved Wabash
Cannonball bike path goes through here. This is a nice hunt with
LOTS of shade for the summer. PLEASE CACHIN-IN-TRASH-OUT if needed.
