PENNYFfordd Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Southerntrekker: This cache has been in need of care and maintenance for some time and as the owner has not repaired/replaced it, I am archiving it.

Guidelines: "You are responsible for occasional visits to your cache to maintain proper working order, especially when someone reports a problem with the cache (missing, damaged, wet, etc.). You may temporarily disable your cache to let others know not to search for it until you have a chance to fix the problem. This feature is to allow you a reasonable amount of time - normally a few weeks - in which to check on your cache. If a cache is not being maintained, or has been temporarily disabled for an unreasonable length of time, we may archive the listing."

If you wish to email me please send your email via my profile (click on my name) and quote the cache name and number.

Geocache Description:

This is my first set of geocaches to mark my 1st year of geocaching. Ive grown up in Penyffordd, Chester and realised that in the local area there are alot of local vilages begining with Pen-y. This serise of caches links these villages with a set of cache containers all containing a penny in the lid.

Penyffordd is a village in Flintshire, situated to the south west of Buckley and to the west of Chester. The name is derived from the Welsh Penyffordd meaning, literally, "head of the road". The cache is located on the outskirts of Penyffordd at the top of the Vounog Hill. It can be done as a quick driveby. You are looking for a small container in camo tape containing pen.notebook and swaps.
