Geocache Description:

An easy to find cache on a very quiet, not well traveled trail in South Peabody.  The trail runs from Cedar Pond condos to Centennial park, and is very easy to navigate.  Very flat, easy walking, a good spot to spy turtles, frogs and bunnies.

There are two places you can park to access the trail.  If you are looking for a short, quick walk, park at the end of Whitney Road in Peabody, where there used to be a playground.  Cross the field and go through the arch of greenery and you'll get to the path.  From this parking spot, it's about a 10 -15 minute walk to the cache.  This path includes a short walk over a plank to get to the path.

You can also park on First Ave in Centennial Park, right near the train tracks.  Across the entrance to the path is a street on which you can park, and from there it's about a 30 minute walk to the cache.

The cache is easy to find, the trail is easy to navigate and very quiet.  It's a great spot to see some animals, including frogs, turtles, rabbits and the occasional deer.  Very easy to navigate with children, and the cache is kid friendly!
