Geocache Description:

In 1730, thirty Glastonbury families petitioned the general assembly for permission to establish a separate church society. The orginal meeting house stood across the street until its removal in 1820. Burials were made here until the Civil War period.

I've gone by this little roadside cemetery for years and finally stopped to read the marker and wander into see the grounds. As with all cemetery caches, please be respectful. Take a look at the headstones. I was particular fond of the the four brothers headstone at the far back end of the cemetery. Note that it faces into the woods.
