AUGHTON TB HOTEL
If you look over the fields you will see Edge Hill University. This is a very special place for us (The Spoongoons) as we spend most of the first 2 years of our relationship here while I (Siân) was studying for my teaching degree. There are lovely walks in the area.
The container is a clip and seal square water tight box covered in green vinyl. Inside you will find a geocaching info sheet, log and pencil inside freezer bag and hopefully some travel bugs! Please replace the camouflage carefully to keep this safe from muggles.

KEEPING TRACKABLES IN PLAY
It’s always exciting to find a Travel Bug or Geocoin! It’s always disappointing for an owner when they go missing. Let’s help to keep them in play. Here’s how:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1. If you take or leave a trackable you should either retrieve it, grab it or drop it off at www.geocaching.com as soon as possible, don't delay.
Retrieve it: On the Play / Find Trackable page, enter the tracking number on the trackable which will take you to that trackable’s page. Select “Move to Inventory”. This takes the trackable out of the geocache and places it in your inventory.
Grab it: You might come across a trackable in a cache that isn’t listed (because the previous geocacher hasn’t “dropped it” off yet). On the Play / Find Trackable page, enter the tracking number which will take you to that trackable’s page. Select “Grab it from …” which will put it into your inventory.
Drop it off: Write your “found the geocache” log as usual. At the bottom of the screen you will see a list of all trackables in your inventory. Choose “Dropped Off” if you left the trackable in that cache or choose “Just Visiting” if you “dipped it for mileage” and you still have the trackable.
2. Only take trackables that you can help toward their goal. If you can’t move a trackable toward its goal, please leave it for someone who can. However, you can still “Discover” it. This lets the trackable owner know that it is still in play and the cache owner know that it is still in their cache.
Discover it: On the Play / Find Trackable page, enter the tracking number on the trackable which will take you to that trackable’s page. Select “Discovered In” and follow the on screen instructions.
3. Unlike swag, trackables are not trade items. Trackable items remain the property of their owner. Think of trackables as a moving Geocache with a specific goal. Keep them moving from cache to cache.
4. Never, ever post the trackable’s serial number online, it or write it in the cache's logbook.
5. Photos of the trackable at various locations are always appreciated. Just make sure the serial number isn't visible in the photo.
Thank you for doing your part to keep Trackables safe and moving!
