Geocache Description:

Enjoy a journey into a very old Juniper forest. The terrain in mostly flat but a bit bumpy. Close to a main road but not REAL close.

This area was used as a play area for the military during the 1920s and 30s. Some of the twisted trees were left that way from being ran upon by tanks. Great view of the valley below from the cache. You are looking for an ammo can near a "lone pine tree". Enjoy this primitive area so close to civilization.
