Geocache Description:

BREAKAWAY is a cache dedicated to commemorate the maiden arrival of the cruise ship Norwegian Breakaway in New York City. Breakaway just made a transatlantic crossing from Europe and was designed by Norwegian Cruise Line to be a New York based ship and passed within sight of this cache.

Small hidey in a beautiful location, easy grab with parking nearby and a ramp that connects this beautiful promenade to Bay Ridge. The Verrazzano bridge within sight as well, in nice weather one could sit and stare at the scenery for hours or wait to catch a glimpse of a cruise ship arriving in the early morning or see one headed out to the open sea in the late afternoon. Most of the muggles are on the move here or busy looking at the view but be careful anyway. The prize for the FTF is a mini multi-tool . There is only a log book in this one so PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN PEN. Enjoy!
