The Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year, falls on Friday 21
st June. The days around it then are an excellent opportunity for those number hungry cachers to get out there and search to their hearts content without the need for a torch.
Where:
The Baker’s Arms
Somerford Keynes nr Cirencester
Date and time:
Saturday 22nd June 12pm – 9pm
The pub serves food during those times on a Saturday. It can get very busy though, so there may be a wait.

I will be there with the log book for the full duration for those that just want to pop by for a quick hello. For those that would like to meet and converse with a few more cachers than just myself I would suggest to arrive from early to mid afternoon to avoid the midday lunch rush of locals.
The pub can get quite busy on Saturdays and have limited parking for patrons. They have asked that if you intend to go off out and about caching that you do not leave vehicles in their car park. If the car park is full, there should be room to park on the road through the village, but please be considerate of residents. There is also a large free car park less than a mile away at Neigh Bridge Country Park Lake (see map in image gallery).
Whether you plan to go caching mad this weekend, are just after an event icon, or just want to sit and relax and meet a few others cachers, it would be great to see you pop by sometime during the day.
