Geocache Description:

An interesting little on-site puzzle cache at Smith Pond. This a dawn to dusk park. Please don't seek after dark.

Who is Jack?

Good question. At a recent CITO event in this park, several of us saw this makeshift memorial. Is it a person? An animal? Something else? We have no clue, that's for sure. But who or whatever this memorial is for, it's obviously meaningful as this is a pretty well-done memorial.

The posted coordinates take you to this memorial. You'll need to answer questions based on this memorial to get the coordinates to the final cache location, which will be in the same park.

A: How many permanent flags are at the memorial?
B: With your back to the memorial, look across the water. You'll see a long building. How many garage doors face the memorial? Then add 4.
C: Take the color Jack's name is written in. How many letters in that color? Subtract 3.

D: How many permanent crosses are there?
E: Double the number of letter's in the name of the person/animal being memorialized.
F: Number of large rocks that create the circle (don't count ones on top of others etc. Only ones on the ground creating the circle). Then subtract 4.
