Keys to Caching Success
- Bring a Friend
- Bring a gps device
- Bring a phone(which may or may not be your GPS)
- You should always bring water. I suggest TWO LITRES
- Maybe some bug spray and ivy wipes or bushwacking
- a hiking stick is handy
- Always bring a flashight to see stuff and find your way out of the woods in the dark
- Pencils are handy or something to write with
- SWAG- you know you want to trade
I'm gonna come right out and say, this cache ain't one for the faint of heart. If you don't want to look foolish or need some first aid this isn't for you. A monkey(or mabye your kids) are probably better at this than you are. There may, scratch that, WILL be dangers along the way(and some laughs too). I don't suggest you start this in the dark, the cold or after a monsoon(I would, but you probably shouldn't). It would probably be darn near impossible. You will need to use your noggin, a handy friend and some determination. You will need some special tools and friends. you may have to come back twice. you will get wet and you will need that monkey we mentioned or a tool or five. We hope you have paid close attention to our nine keys to successfull geocaching. It will help you along your way. Good luck and happy caching.
