This is part of the northern extension of the power trail begun by cwgladstone in Kentucky.
This cache is located near a garden at the Cary Cottage. From 1832-1850, the cottage was the home of the Cary family, early settlers to the area. Two of the daughters who lived in Cary Cottage, Alice and Phoebe Cary, were well-known poets of their day.
Today, Cary Cottage is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The cache used to be accessible from the paved brick walkway. But then it got muggled. I encourage you to visit the nearby garden and the historical marker. Cool history!
Cache owner has moved to Pennsylvania, so feel free to replace this cache if it's missing or needs repair.
