You are seeking a short two stage multi cache that begins at the grave marker for Amaziah Weaver, a Veteran of the Civil War.
Amaziah married a cousin, Sarah Ann Snider, in 1847. The next year they had a son named Henry.
Amaziah enlisted in Company D of the 36th Alabama Infantry as a Private, and by the end of the war was listed as a Corporal.
His unit saw action at Chickamauga, Missionary Ridge, Nashville and at the Atlanta battles. The unit was dispatched to Spanish Fort which was later under siege. The remained of the unit surrendered at Meridian on May 4, 1865.
