Hike the old logging road to the south and you will find a great meadow to explore. Follow the path west and you pass under tall cliffs, up onto the ridge line separating the north and south side of the mountain, and through a wide expanse of ferns so high the cairns have to be four feet tall to be seen. Don't think of this as the end.
