Geocache Description:

A short walk from the parking lot. This cache is dedicated to the geofriends who have helped me better discover how much fun this hobby is.  There is a $5.00 Walgreen's gift card for the FTF.  There is room for small trade items or trackables.

For the past three years that I have been geocaching, I have met some really special people. This cache is dedicated to my geofriends who have helped me with hints, encouraged me to climb mountains, and taught me the ropes of this great hobby. I hope that I don't leave anyone out; if I do, it is completely unintentional for which I apologize.

My husband and I are retiring in June and moving to Prescott, AZ. We will miss all of the people who we have met through geocaching. You all have been an inspiration to us. Hopefully, you can come and cache with us in our new locaation.

To DavidT and Fisherwoman for allowing me to go in their car for the 4 x 4 rally because I mistakenly brought my ATV. Fisherwoman found a cache on a long string that the seven of us other cachers couldn't see. DavidT is a remarkable 4x4 driver who gave us quite an entertaining day.

To Jellis who has helped me find caches and puzzles that I would have never been able to figure out by myself.

To A_Jersey_Thing for inviting me on my first night cache. What an experience! Thank you, also, for going with me to do some of the Bear Creek Road caches in Berkeley.

To Tattletales for all their terrific caches and encouraging me to figure out how to complete them when I couldn't see what was right in front of me.

To csolsen for helping me with my first first-to-find after I attended my first get-together here in Fremont (It was his cache, so I kind of had an edge). Remember when I literally fell on that cache on Driscoll Road , and we shared the FTF with CarlottaP and Oaknest?

To DJ's who never fails to help me by giving me a hint when I can't seem to understand where I should be looking. He has the patience of Job, for sure.

To CarlottaP and Oaknest for dropping hints so that I could find caches that I just couldn't find.

And last, but not least, to Nozy Nabor for being an extra good friend to me. We logged a lot of miles together, haven't we? You always encouraged me to keep going even though I wanted to give up the climb. Remember dragging me up hills in Hayward, Berkeley, and Coyote Hills? I would have given up long ago without your determination to get me to the top. Please thank RJ for letting me steal you away so many times.

Thank you, again. We will never forget you.
