Geocache Description:

An easy cache in a scenic lookout, please be very careful if travelling from Otira as you will have to cross both sides of the road.

This was placed during the Bridging the Gap power trail between Kumara and Springfield.
I have given a terrain 2 due to the sudden turn into the viewing area if you are travelling from Otira, if your coming from down the viaduct then you should have no problem - just make sure to give following traffic notice that your turning.

Its placed at a plaque dedicated to Stan Kuka who lost his life in the constructionn of the viaduct.
Please do not add pictures of the memorial plaque to your log as this is a waypoint of Coast to Coast cache that goes from Greymouth to Christchurch.

However scenic shots are most welcome. The Reid Falls structure, a cheeky Kea or two etc.
