Geocache Description:

This is a set of 4 caches Twisted, Toad in the Hole, A123, A124 and Emperor placed along a path / trail in a walk around Oak woods in Tehidy Country park. Kind permission to lay all caches has been given by Cornwall County Council.

To access the trail park at Coombe follow the main path into the woods until you come to Snake Bridge. Cross over the bridge and pick up the trail and follows your GPS.
This is a beautiful wood especially when the bluebells are out, but please respect their existence and don’t trample all over them.
All caches are near to the main path and you may have to follow little trails to find them. Some caches are camouflaged into their natural environment. We suggest you return to the path after finding caches and continue with the walk.
This trail is suitable for geohounds, BUT MOUNTAIN BIKES AND HORSES ARE NOT PERMITTED ON THIS TRAIL.
Please replace all caches exactly as found and please log your do not finds. There is no need to destroy anything as all caches are just there.
YOU WILL BE ABLE TO PUT YOUR HAND ON THEM WITHOUT REMOVING ANYTHING AND THERE IS NO NEED TO CLIMB ANY TREES.
This trail has been set up in spring and we had a good GPS signal in all cache areas, though we do not know how coverage will be in the summer.
Whilst your walking why not look out from some dens along the way that some children (and fun adults) have built.
Cornwall County Council has also given permission for a new ribbon wishing tree. Why not bring along a ribbon and make a wish for someone you love (this can be yourself!!)
Only part of the trail is suitable for wheelchairs and buggies and the actual caches are not.
You will need a pen and pair of tweezers to complete all four.
We have a tied a few ribbons on the wishing tree and wish you all fun. Happy Geocaching.
