From Sredno Vodno (Middle Vodno) there are quite a few paths up to the top. The most easy going path is the so-called “pensioners path”. It is the longest trail to the top, but it is the least steep (which is why it is called pensioners path). It offers some good views on the way.
To take the pensioners path, start at the newly established trim trail. Waypoint point T1
Follow the trail for about 400 meters after which you take the forest path to your right. Waypoint point R1
Follow the marks on the trees/ rocks. The cache is hidden along this path near an old wall, of which we have no idea what it actually belonged to J
Don’t forget to continue your walk to the top of Vodno (from Sredno Vodno it takes about 1,5 hours to walk up). The reward is a warm and sweet cup of tea with rum at the mountain hut next to the cross.
