Forest Hill Cemetery Wherigo Cache

This is a Tour of our Beautiful Cemetery that will take you around and point out a few local celebrities buried here. We hope you enjoy your visit. NO NIGHT CACHING!

This is our first Wherigo and we wanted to create it to introduce you to the final resting places of a few local celebrities. When I did this Wherigo I didn't realize the grave to another local Celebrity was right at one of the stages. As you approach the Flight 853 memorial you will pass the stone pictured at the bottom of the cache page. Mr. Zimny was also my Middle School Health Teacher. Here is his memorial: Professional Football Player. For five seasons (1945 to 1949), he played at the tackle position in the National Football League with the Chicago Cardinals. Born Robert John Zimny, he attended St. Rita High School (Chicago) and played collegiate football at the University of Indiana. Selected by the Brooklyn Tigers during the 28th round of the 1944 NFL Draft, he would be signed by the Cardinals and begin his professional career following service with the US Army during World War II. He earned Second-Team All-NFL honors while a rookie in 1945 and experienced a world championship with the Cardinals in 1947. He concluded his playing career in 1949, after appearing in 52 games and settled in the Shelbyville, Indiana area where he taught high school health and physical education, in addition to coaching football and track.
