A night multi-cache at Wabamun Lake
We shamelessly stole the idea for this night cache from the archived BHT cache finders' cache "A Night to Reflect".
This multi-stage cache is designed to be done in the dark so you'll need a flashlight or headlamp. There are five stages including the starting point and the final cache, involving a loop hike of just less than one kilometer from either of the suggested parking areas. This is wild rose country so shorts and sandals are not recommended. It should take about one hour to complete.
Go to the posted coordinates (watch where you're walking in the dark!) and while standing on the trail scan the wooded area with your light looking for a small reflective firetack - it will be within a few meters of the trail, more or less at eye level. Go to the tack and search nearby for a hanging tag with the coordinates for the next stage. Enter these coordinates into your gps and head down the trail to repeat the process at the next stop. At the final stop there are three firetacks marking the cache hide location. After finding the cache continue along the trail to complete the loop hike. Good luck
