Tanenui A Rangi Marae, Nuhaka, H.B Traditional Cache

This is my first hide, should be a easy find. As this cahce is on a major road care must be taken crossing the road if approching from north there is parking space on the left within 100 metres if approaching the cache from the south.

Tanenui A Rangi Marae

Tanenui A Rangi, the demi-god according Maori mythology, forced apart Papatuanuku (mother earth) and Rangi (the sky). The Tekoteko (figurine at the apex of the carved frontage) depicts Tanenui A Rangi holding up the sky.

The cache is a film canister size Accu-Check container inside a snap lock bag.

The cache contains a log, pencil, pencil sharpener and a good luck charm for the FTF.
