gary/dawn: Time to shut it down until next year. Was a great time. It was great to meet new cachers. Thanks to all that attended. I would also like to thank my mother-in-law, Marilyn(Newbie Finders) for the hard work she put into the event as well. The RC Chamber, Bev, for her help as well and the many area businesses that made donations for the event.

Geocache Description:

Welcome to Richland Centers 1st Annual Cache Splash, A place to meet an old friend, find new friends and swap a story or two

This event will be held at the UW Richland Library. Door prizes will be awarded. You need to be present to win.

We are starting a new trend here in Southwest Wisconsin, The fever has hit and what a better way to cap off a great caching season. This page will be updated as things get rolling. Mark the date on your calendar 10-5-13.

Here is list of things that we have planned so far.

9:00am Check in and sign the log, Grab your Geo-Bingo card,

9:30am We will be having a Geo Basic course for those that want to know a little more about caching and those of us that need a little help.

10:00am till 2:00 pm break out time. Group or solo caching tours of the Richland Center area.

2:00pm Head back to the Library for Door prizes.

3:00pm Happy trails time. Or If you would like to stick around I just found out that there will be more fun at the campus. Home Brew Fest at UW Richland – sample beers and wines – contact Derek.kalish@uwc.edu for more information.

This event will be a great time. The Richland Chamber & Development Alliance along with several others will be donating door prizes!! There is no cost at all. Top prize will be a brand new GPS!!!
