Geocache Description:

The Lehi City Bull River Road trailhead is one of the seven official trailheads on the newly constructed Murdock Canal Trail.

The new 17 mile long Murdock Canal trail officially opened May 18th 2013. The trail passes through seven cities: Lehi, Highland, American Fork, Pleasant Grove, Cedar Hills, Lindon, and Orem at a cost of $17 million (That’s a million bucks a mile!). It will be used for activities such as walking, jogging, cycling, and skating. The century-old Murdock canal was recently enclosed by a 10-foot diameter pipeline that runs under the new trail. A section of this pipe is on display at this trailhead.
