This site had the largest of three Mills along this stretch of the river, called Weybread Mill ( also called Buttons Mill ) This Mill had two cast iron wheels, one measuring 20ft in diameter & the other 16ft. The two arches are still visable today where each wheel had its own water course. This Mill was distroyed by fire 6th February 1920. Enjoy the views while you are here.
