Martin Picnic Area is located in American Fork Canyon on the road to Tibble Fork Reservoir. Access to the canyon is $6 per vehicle for a 3 day pass.
Martin is the third picnic area on the road to Tibble Fork. Find a spot in the parking area and then walk south through the picnic areas. There is a small trail that follows close to the stream. You should see a few makeshift fire pits along the way to the cache. You are looking for a clump of several larger trees next to a big rock just in front of the water. You will NOT have to cross the water or get wet to find this one. See the hint and spoiler photos if you need help.
The cache is far enough away from the picnic spots that no one will see you searching, but still be respectful of other people that may be using the picnic areas. The best time to come searching for the cache is during the week, in the morning or afternoon when people are less likely to be claiming picnic spots. Evenings and weekends are usually going to be crowded.
