Geocache Description:

For map and full information on this series, please see Secret Treasures #1 Pillars Wood

This is the second part of a circular walk of approximately 2.2 miles over reasonably level terrain.  Apart from a short section of road, the route follows public footpaths. Some areas can get muddy in the winter and after heavy rainfall.

The stile at Cache 2 does have a dog flap. The field is used for grazing sheep. If you have a dog with you, please make sure that the dog flap pushes open into the field. If it is the other way, the sheep use it to get out! Please ensure dogs are kept on a lead.

Please follow the public paths throughout.  There are many tracks in the woods but they are part of an army training area and access is forbidden to the public.

There are clues hidden throughout the walk that will lead you to a bonus cache. If you are taking part, you will need a pen and paper.

NOTE:THE LARGE ARROW ON THE MAP IS POINTING TO THE STILE OR WAYMARKER, NOT YOUR DIRECTION OF TRAVEL.

This is designed to be fun for families and individuals as well as to show you some lovely places in the countryside. The woodland area Cache 3 is a sea of bluebells in the Spring
