Geocache Description:

PLEASE REMEMBER CACHE IN AND TRASH OUT

Cherokee County has so many bridges, many of which are on
gravel roads that I’ve decided to make a series of them, in no
particular order.   This is one of my favorite bridges in the county.
It is an old “Through Truss Bridge”.  I know of only two others in
the county.  This bridge is eligible for The National Register of
Historic Places. This bridge is now closed to vehicle traffic.  The
road to the west is minimal and it is difficult to turn around if
approaching from that direction.  Also the local farmer watches
this area closely, even though it is a public road.  If he asks you
can always say you are interested in historical bridges.
Best approaches:  From Hiway 59 take 440th St straight west.
From County Rd C16 take “M” Ave North and then go west on
440th to the cache.  Coming from this direction it is easy to get
to BoCC # 029 and then a little north to BoCC # 022, Nice View and
Mill Creek # 8.
