Park at SS 49095 90039, on either side of the road. Looking North you will see on the horizon a big stone, Maen Ceti burial cairn, at SS 49132 90560. The cache is further at SS 49153 90627. Because this is a popular viewpoint and picnic spot the cache is well hidden beneath a group of three stones, beside a narrow track.
The cache is a plastic box containing a teddy with enamelled Wales stick-pin, corkscrew multi tool, magnetic fishing game, old fashioned map mileage measuring tool, a telephone/address book and a logbook (sorry, forgot to leave a pen). Enjoy your cache hunt and explore a little more of the Gower with fine sandy bays and ancient sites.
We think that this is far easier than the guidelines would suggest and its ideal as a first time family cache hunt, nothing at all strenuous. Click on the photo only if you want to make it really easy! Pity the boxes keep cracking, we'll have to find a solution. Sunday 12/05/02 Thanks for the message about damaged box. We have replaced the cache and added a few more goodies.
08/08/02Thanks to Canzo for replacing the box, yet again. We hadn't had time to get back.
Unfortunately pseudo-legislation is appearing to control our hobby. We find this unacceptable so please note that after March 4th, 2004, this cahe will be archived. Caches will then be posted on our own website, free of hinderance or policing ..........
