This patch of woods is behind my childhood Elementary School who's Mascot is a Bulldog. I had some of my best memories playing in the woods out behind the school.
I wanted to honor this School by placing this cache far away enough to not bother the school or the students but close enough to be right at it's back door. These woods meant a lot to me as a child. You may understand the Y when you get there. you can park at the dead end or approach from the far end of the schools field depending on how much of a walk you want. Though I would approach from the dead end during school hours. Watch for all the poisonous leafs!!
