Geocache Description:

Such a neglected habitat for so long, now a few additions have turned the tables slightly.

If hiking from the main park center (go to the end of the levy) this and its companion will take you on a 2 mile, flat terrain stroll through the park. If you park at the nearest designated parking area to the coords the walk would be less than 1 mile. Why take the longer route? The Burrowing Owl at the entrance is worth it, plus there are picnic tables and shade. No need to bushwhack, stay on and follow the marked trails. Terrain rating is based on most of the hike, the last 10 feet of each cache is very aggressive vegetation, and you are warned. Ammo cans are almost extinct now so we used what we had. You should be able to tell who loaded each cache by its contents.
