Short hike up a suprisingly nice canyon.
The Gila Forest is chockfull of amazing canyons and long adventureous hikes. There are also some very nice short hikes that can be had. While camping with the family, we explored one of these short canyons and were delighted by what we found. Terrain rating is for worse-case conditions on the main obstacle near the cache. Bathing suit recommended! Cache is an orange water-proof matchstick container.
