Geocache Description:

This is the site of an old pickle factory that closed its doors in the 60s. There used to be a railraod in the area as well. (The home that is close to the cashe is not the land owner, my uncle owns this land, the house across the street is my father if you have questions.) Park across the street from the white house on nessen city road with the red fence. its ok with the owner. Bring your own writing stick!

From the 1940s into the early 1970s it was the center of a thriving pickling community with multiple large label pickle producers in the area. Farming has become more localized at this time and the community centers around Crystal Mountain, a luxury resort to the north as well as a regular flea market and auction. Bring your own writing stick!
