CARL5 - What is the Story? Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

prairiepansy: Today, I stopped to check out the cache. The container was in place but the lid and log had disappeared.

I was surprised to see a house is standing on this spot and another one will soon be built. This is no longer a semi-secluded location so I have decided to archive the cache.

This is a beautiful neighbourhood and I hope the new neighbours will enjoy their home.

Geocache Description:

The caches for the CARL5 event are released early so that the geocaching community has an opportunity to plan their routes prior to the event start. The cache should not be located prior to 6 p.m. Friday June 7.

This location has two vacant lots in a beautiful residential neighborhood. It appears a house would have been there in the past as there are carrigana bushes, lilac bushes and several old trees. Do you have a story about this location? Cache is placed on the edge of the property and there is no need to walk through the property. I hope you enjoy this beautiful and unique area. To open the container push down and turn. Do the same to close - it is closed when you hear a click.
