Micro/log-only on the southwest loop trail in Washington Valley Park, Bridgewater, NJ. Less than 50 feet from the trail.
The third in my series dedicated to the memory of George Washington whose troops camped in this area of the Middle Brook, joining "Character" and "Peseverence." The cache was also inspired by veteran cacher PTBilly who gave me the container that he ingeniously crafted with a soda bottle and some glue. Billy is a delightful regular at our monthly Triiple Tuesday Pints and Patties event cache organized by Twisted Lemons.
A deer deferred to me as I invaded her little grazing hamlet to place the cache today. I've hiked a whole lot east of here around the old reservoir but never before in this section. Jimbuk2 brought me here with his cache just 660 feet away. Hope you nail this one, Jim!
Have fun and God bless. More hides to follow in this terrific preserve.
