This cache is one of a series of nine caches placed by Common Blue around Bousdale and Hutton Lowcross Woods near Guisborough. They can be done as one-offs or strung together to make a more challenging walk over varied terrain in beautiful scenery.
I'm not going into any details about the local geography or history of the area - the aim of these caches is purely to get you all out there to enjoy some wonderful countryside and have some fun finding a handful of caches.
The Forestry Commission have kindly given their permission to site these caches. Please remember these are working forests and as such can be dangerous places. Please obey all warning signs and directions while you search for any caches in this woodland.
The caches are all small or micro sized so please bring your own pen/pencil. Some have them - some don't.
The cache is a camouflaged container holding just a log.
Permission given by Forestry Commission Yorkshire Forest District (Pickering) - their ref. FR 5/29 : permit number is 11/13 valid from 30-05-2013.
