Geocache Description:

You'll be headed to one of two nearby dead ends. The roads to each can be somewhat sloppy and may not be easy to navigate after recent rain or snow. Use your judgement, and be prepared to return another day if necessary.

The parcel of land that is now the Meade Township Cemetery was purchased in 1911 after Ulysus Maule, son of pioneer Chas. Maule, died when a tree fell on him. The remark was later made that Meade Township was so healthy they had "to kill a man to start a cemetery."

Before you can find the cache, you'll first need to head into the Meade Township Cemetery and visit the posted coordinates. You'll find a large old tree there. Dust off your estimation skills and answer the question: At chest height, approximately many feet around is the old tree?

A) about 15 or 16 ft
B) about 21 or 22 ft

If A) is correct, you'll find the cache at N 44 06.747, W 086 07.824.
If B) is correct, you'll find the cache at N 44 07.145, W 086 08.526.

Happy estimating, and happy hunting!

CONGRATS to HelloLola for being FTF!
