Description of the tour :
The Abbey of Marbach was founded in 1089 by the knight Buckard of Gueberschwihr, a noble, vassal of the bishop of Strasbourg. This abbey had exited during almost 700 years. This spiritual place is accessible to the public all along the year. Religious made this monument a spiritual high place. From the abbey , only remain the Narthex, or Paradise, in which some guided tour and concert takes place during summer.
