A short series of caches along the trail from what was once The Plough pub at Catcliffe to Whiston Ponds following the Doorstep Walk Trail
Take the path located on Treeton Lane downstream and you are soon transported into another little gem of a trail. I've deliberately not place caches prior to this point as they get washed away with the river overflowing. The paths are well defined but can bee a little muddy underfood after heavy rain.
However this is the best point as to starting the series on the trail. If you follow on to No.5 the views across the valley into Sheffield and beyond are worth the effort.
Mr Moody whose farm fields the path crosses does ask me to point out that due to grazing animals please keep pets on lead.
