Old, abandoned farm churches are quite a common site around the area. We stopped by this gem on our tour. The doors were wide open and it looks like Mother Nature's creatures are starting to take over. From the outside one would never guess that the alter and original paintings are still in tact. Even the old bell still remains in the bell tower on the property. Across the road is the former community hall and another church. One can only imagine how lively this intersection used to be in the good old days.
