Houbara Remembered Traditional Cache
RobbieV8: Cache has been lost and the area has been significantly cut back so will not be putting out a replacement. On the last visit the cache and all its camo had been removed. I think a car had crashed through the fence during the winter and the cache was cleared away with the damaged car and the bits it had left scattered.

Houbara Remembered is situated on a triangle of scrub land adjacent to the M23 with the Turners Hill road on another side and a the access road to Crabbet Park on the other. Parking is available on the access road.
It can be accessed from the access road to Crabbet Park or from the short footpath that runs alongside the M23 between the Turners Hilll Road and the access road. It gets a bit overgrown at times. Shorts are not recommended as the nettles and brambles nearby can be nasty. The cache is named after our old yacht which we sold when we gave up sailing and took up geocaching. Its a small container with a log book, pencil and some swaps. There is also enough room for small trackables. If you are walking the Worth Way you deviate to this one and also pick up Daffy-Duck GC262H0.
