A series of caches along the footpath between Talbot Ave and Thornton Hough
We thought we would share our walk along the Brimstage and Thornton Hough footpaths with the Geocaching world.
This series will take you along the short walk from Talbot Ave to Grange drive in Thornton Hough.
Both Brimstage & Thornton Hough are picturesque villages on the Wirral Peninsula and there are plenty of public footbaths and bridal ways to satisfy everyone from Dog Walkers to Ramblers taking in some wonderful views of the countryside and a glimpse or two of the former Leverhulme Manor House. There is also the Brimstage Hall Craft Centre nearby to visit and a good pub and park in Thornton Hough along with the two Churches in Thornton Hough this walk could easily provide a full days enjoyment.
The series can be done alone or combined with the caches in both Brimstage and Thornton Hough for a great days caching, These can also be linked up to form a circular walk with parking available on Talbot Ave by the number 1 cache.
The caches along here with the exception of one are all small specimen tube type caches and none should prove too taxing to hide as they were all hidden by our Geokids. There is one cache that is a small tub with room for swapable items.
