Located in the beautiful Ennerdale Valley, approx 3.5 miles from the Bowness Knot carpark. This cache is hidden where there is a stunning view of Pillar. Red squirrels can be seen playing in the nearby trees, early in the morning and Roe Deer can regularly be seen in the fields below.
The location is safe for children and requires no climbing or searching through brambles and thorns, although there are some nearby. It is a small waterproof box, containing a log book, pencil and there's a ftf reward for 2 lucky finders every day until the end of october. Why not say 'hello' to Derek by signing in the visitors book too.
