Round Valley Recreation Area. About a 3 mile hike each way from the south lot on the red blazed Cushetunk Trail. There may be some loose/rocky parts along the trail but it's not too bad. There are definitely some ups and downs. Please watch for muggles and rehide well.
Here is the original Description from RAT Team 6. Don't follow these directions. Coordinates updated 5/30/03. Thanks Mr. Magoo. This one requires a bit of hiking (didn't measure how far). Even though a trail is available most of the way, footing is sometimes loose/rocky and the terrain has some hills. Scenic view of the reservoir from the cache site, at least as long as the trees are bare. Cache site is in depression of a "U" shaped pile of rocks and covered with debris. There are several rock piles but we made ours fairly obvious. Feel free to build it up a bit and add a rock or two to the pile! Feeling energetic? Try climbing the partially fallen tree a few feet East of the cache. But if you break your leg, don't come running to us ;-)
