Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts
The Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts is located in Gushan District, Kaohsiung. It occupies about 8.15 acres (33,000 m2) and started in 1994.
In addition, the Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts is a part of the Neiweipi Cultural Park, which occupies about 40 hectares. The Neiweipi Cultural Park’s construction started in 1989 and was completed in 1994. During this phase, the Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts was completed. Afterwards, the developments of the entire area such as entrance plaza, sculpture park, and ecology park are kept carrying on and let the art museum itself become more attractive by the surroundings.

高雄市立美術館主體建築也屬於內惟埤文化園區的一部分，內惟埤文化園區佔地40公頃，完成於1994年。內惟埤文化園區共分六大區域，分別為美術館區、雕塑公園、生態公園、入口廣場、兒童美術館及立體停車場等。
