You will pull off Hwy 28 onto a tribal road that takes you across two cattle guards. Once you pass the second cattle guard just wind yourself up the mountain road to GZ.
You MUST have a CSKT Tribal Recreation Permit on your person to be on this road/land. Without one, you run the risk of paying a fine should you meet up with a Tribal Fish & Game Warden. You can buy CSKT Rec Permits at most places that sell fishing licenses.
At the event, a cache container was given to the first ten people to arrive! Each cache provided is a regular-sized plastic ammo can with a log book, pencil, swag (I also added more to it) and an unactivated trackable geocoin as a FTF prize. Also the cache was to be hid within 20 miles of the event if one did a search for caches placed within 20 miles of Somers zip of 59932.. This cache is almost exactly at the 20 mile limit, South, as the crow flies from Somers, making it on Flathead Indian Reservation lands. That being said again, please remember to have your CSKT Rec permit with you when you are on this road/land. As with any caches in the wooded areas around the lake, keep in mind you are in bear and mountain lion country so please be aware of your surroundings always. Cache On!
As with any other geocache on the Flathead Indian Reservation, please be sure to have your recreation permit with you while on the hunt unless you are a tribal member, whereas it is not needed.
