Geocache Description:

This geocache is located on the northern edge of the historic market town of St. Ives. Few visitors to the town will venture this far to the north but a thin strip of woodland linking Hill Rise Park, the Hill Rise Allotments and Ramsey Road Cemetary conceals the Green Fingers geocache.

Hill Rise connects Hill Rise Park to the West with the Ramsey Road Cemetary to the East, with the Hill Rise Allotments situated between the two. The nearest parking for geocachers arriving by car is at Hill Rise Park and the geocache itself is located some distance along the path that runs through the thin strip of woodland connecting the three sites (the park, allotments and cemetary.) The path can get muddy after wet weather and while suitable for treasure-seekers on two wheels or those with dogs, sadly those with buggies or those in wheelchairs might struggle to navigate it. The cache is hidden close to the allotments, south of the ditch which can be crossed if need be by two or three small bridges. Be warned though that stealth must be used in discovering this geocache as the path leading to it is frequented by dog walkers. The cache itself is a black pot with a screw-lid - please replace and conceal it after you've discovered it to preserve it for future 'cachers.
