This quiet tucked away area is a great place to come and get away from it all. Meander around the trails to view the water and watch for beavers, sandhill cranes, redwing blackbirds, warblers, sandpipers and many varieties of water fowl. A great place to bring a picnic and relax in the beauty of the mountains and the sweet sounds of nature. Nearest Community: Clinton, B.C.

Access and restrictions: 30kms North from Clinton. From Highway 97 at top of hill at rest stop turn west onto Big Bar Road (hard packed dirt/gravel) for 8 km following signage for Big Bar Ski Trails. Continue on for approx. another 15kms. Large pullout on the left hand side with an amazing view of the mountains. At the parking area walk down the hill towards the gate. Close the gate behind you. This is the only geocache on this side of the gate.
