Geocache Description:

1/2/04  Tried again to get up to the cache, however the area is still closed do to the fires and now the rains. Will keep trying!

10/27/03 The cache has most likely been destroyed by the Old Waterman Fire (see our family site www.beymer.com for pictures). I will have to decide later when I have time as to whether or not to replace it.

To get to the cache take Highway 330 North to the City Creek Forest Service station. From there take Forest Road 1N22 (This is the paved road that is just to the right of the Port-a-Potties. It is marked with a 3-foot high brown pole on the right side of the road with 1N22 written in white). The pavement will end and the cache is just a little ways up the hill beyond the point where the road turns to dirt. There is no need to drive up the dirt road.

The cache is in an ammo box with strips of light and dark green cloth tied to the top of it.
