Welcome operators to the Raes Creek operation zone. Your mission is code named "Black Book". As you are all aware, this is a Black Op. If you are caught, we will not assist you in any way.
MISSION BASICS:
- This mission has been planned out to be completed by a team of AT LEAST two!
- (The completion of this mission with a team of one would be HIGHLY time consuming
and entail many miles of travel AND/OR heavy involvement with water.)
- There is NOT a requirement to wade into water. Please check your figures and the mission brief if this is indicated.
- The team should be split into two groups
North Group can access all points via trail, though, will travel further (Terrain rating is 2.5) (~3Km or 1.8Mi Round Trip)
- Route is located along Mountain Bike trail but it is NOT FLAT.
South Group will encounter bushwhacking and rock type areas. (Terrain rating is 3.5) (~1.6Km or 1Mi Round Trip)
- Bike can be used for first half. Would need to leave bike for at least last two stages.
- There is never a need to climb up or down and embankment. (Recheck the numbers!)
- Communications between teams is REQUIRED. (ie: Radio, Phone, Carrier Wave...)
- Team(s) should include at least one "Electronic Navigation Specialist"
Equiped with computational device highly desired
- Both teams will require GPSr support equipment
- At each point you will need to pass information to the other team
- There is a lot of basic math involved, double check your solutions.
- Take water
- Read through the missions and be prepared.
Ground transportation will deliver you to a staging area. You will make your way into enemy territory by crossing the nearby bridge over the canal. After crossing the canal, the teams will break into two groups and proceed to the N_Insert and S_Insert points (Trailhead waypoints) as provided. At this point you will need to work your way through to the completion of your mission by using various bits of information found along the way.

MISSIONS: (PAY STRICT ATTENTION TO THE INSTRUCTIONS)
NORTH TEAM:
1) N_Insert: You will find a small green sign. You will need to pass the number of letters in the bottom line of the sign to the South Team. You will receive a number from South Team, this will be X. Proceed to N: -((X*6)+2) W: +(X+(X/2))
2) Once on station, you should be near a data center. Add all the numbers (Digits) for all the years it flooded together for X. Project a waypoint from your current location (X*24)-7ft on a heading of X+1deg This waypoint is to be passed to the South Team. Move to the waypoint provided by the South Team.
3) Upon arriving, move to the center of the structure and look across the creek and up. You should see two like numbers in orange. X will be a single one of these numbers. Inform the South Team that their next objective will be located (X*10) meters away on a heading of (X*11*3) (From THEIR current Waypoint)
4) You arrive at the fence line (4x4 Post). Count the number of pieces of lumber in the fence. This will be X. You will be receiving a number from the South Team, this number is Y. You need to move from your current location to N: -(X+(Y squared)) W: -((X cubed)+(Y*2))
5) You should be standing on a pathway with a pile of large (~3' long) stump pieces right beside the trail. Count these and that will be X. Inform South Team that their final target is located X*9 Meters on a heading of (X*20)+10 from the corner of the wall.
After passing the last bit to the South Team, you can either make your way back to the extration point. Or, for you more go get em types, you to can make your way to the final coordinates. The direct route WILL get you wet.
SOUTH TEAM:
1) S_Insert: You will find a small green sign. You will need to pass the number of letters in the line below "Trail maintained by" to the North Team. The North Team will pass you a number, this will be X. Proceed to N: +(X*4) W: - X
2) Once you arrive, walk to the center of the structure, X will be the number of pillars (Both sides of the creek) supporting the structure. Calculated from the waypoint you used to get to your current location, the North Team needs to move to N: +X+(X/2) W: +(X*2)
3) This is the end of the trail.. Looking about, you should find the half buried piece of a ground transport device. Count the number of grooves to get X. Inform North Team they need to high tail it to (Based on your current point) N: +(X*7) W: -(X*11)
4) You will be sneaking up to a wall section. At the base of the upper end of the wall are security camera wires. Count these wires (They are camo'd to look like rebar.) This number will be Y. At this point, pass the number Y to the North Team and lay low until you receive further instructions.
5) You have snuck into the holding area of "The Great Black Book" Your mission is to locate it and place the names of both North and South Teams upon the pages.
